Evaluation

I interpreted the brief by giving insight to the client and their demands on the project, talked about my target audience and how my project could and would relate to the client and audience. I have meet the AC-2 criteria by effectively creating test footage and field experiments in my production diary and documenting my 'mise en scene' distinctively. I explained throughout my work in progress workflow of counteracting these issues and addressing them accordable to sharpen my final project.

For example I  decided to ditch the table idea as it took up way to much of the floor space and interfered with the lighting as it was much harder to get the lighting close enough to the subject for it be effective and getting the correct angle that I wanted was inconvenient, so to solve this I decided amongst the rest of my team that removing the table entirely was a better idea. It also made setting up grid-markings 'the rule of 3rds' in my camera much easier to accomplish as the camera could get in much closer.

Secondly, I deciphered between the rest of my cast and crew any kind of suggestions that could be made to improve the lighting situation. I changed the 1050W EzyLite Softbox Twin Head (which served as my primary key-light) and then replaced it with the Daylite4 MKII 34000W  which collated better with my white balance set-up in my camera much more nicely as the 34000 level wattage in the light bulb complimented the 120,000W setting in the camera. the angle of which the new key-light was set upon remained unchanged from the previous light that was there before, however the height was noticeably higher (although not by a lot) this was due to light's brightness spread being different compared to the old light as it was a circular diffused light as compared to the metalish 'cone' version. Which produced tremendous amounts of heat in addition to the the already warmly heated studio. To counteract this I worked closely with my Health & Safety Operative (Lewis) to ensure that my choice of lighting was done both professionally and wisely, to keep both the cast and the crew safe from overheating and the danger of de-hydration.

Thirdly, during an alternative take during the interview with Rob, he sparked a very critical and important point onwards one of my first questions which actually affected some of my other interviewees responses, is that question-1 as whole is ultimately quite vague and un-specified  as to what I actually wanted them to respond to. This effected the level of communication between me (The interviewer) and 'the interviewee' so to counteract this a changed the wording of my question for a more suitable response to what I wanted.

I have meet the AC-3 criteria by experimenting with different editing and camera angle techniques for example; the jump-cut (very popular film technique used when one shot cuts to another without any continuity between the other previous shots) in depth experimentation of colour grading for the example the 'Teel & Orange Look' mixed in with a more darker, moodier colour grade remianscenent of some of my favorite movie style filmmakers. I also will be creating additional aesthetic tests in photoshop to experiment with digital promotion and marketing etc to further elevate my product. I have meet the criteria of AC-4, by partciting in creating shooting schedules, a suitable/effective script, cast & crew list, alongside a health & safety risk assessment.
